2. What is a virtual/true domain? - Top

A virtual/true domain is having your own domain name (http://www.your-name.com) without having to install expensive server hardware and software. With a virtual domain, you utilize our server's storage space, however, you are still professionally represented via your own personal Internet web address (www.your-name.com) and by your own personal email address (you@your-name.com). Having your own domain name enables you to maintain the same email address (you@your-name.com) even if you change Internet providers. -

3. How do I transfer files to my web site? - Top

Files must be transferred to the web server via File Transport Protocol (FTP). Internet providers such as AOL, CompuServe, and Prodigy may have a built-in FTP interface. If you need FTP, Telnet, mail, or other Internet software, visit www.shareware.com. Shareware.com is a source for the latest Internet applications with ratings and reviews to help you decide which application is best suited for your needs. An FTP tutorial is also available for beginners who may not be familiar with FTP. Microsoft FrontPage users can "publish" their sites to our server and should not use FTP.
